Matt Crick
Filmmaker
Matt is an independent filmmaker and educator. He has directed, shot, and produced a feature-length, award-winning documentary on the 1950s Universal film Creature from the Black Lagoon, starring Benicio del Toro, and several short documentaries and short films. He's won several awards for documentary and narrative productions. Crick has decades of experience in visual communication in the creative, professional, and educational sectors.

Education
As an independent filmmaker and educator, nurturing filmmaker's roots is an integral part of the Red Barn Films structure. Providing hands-on, educational experiences to aspiring filmmakers amidst the film creation process allows for techniques to be passed down as well as new perspectives and approaches to be unlocked.
We are committed to fostering a love for storytelling, equipping the next generation with the skills and confidence to bring their visions to life. Through mentorship and collaborative projects, we aim to create a vibrant community where creativity and learning go hand in hand.
